Formula:

will + V

For example: will work

Subject + will + verb in the infinitive without to.

Example 1 (future action):

I will call you tomorrow.

Example 2 (prediction):

It will rain next week.

Example 3 (promise):

I will help you with your homework.

Future Simple vs Present Continuous (for the future)

Present Continuous is used for planned actions; Future Simple — for spontaneous decisions and predictions.

I am meeting him tomorrow (planned). I will meet him tomorrow (decision/prediction).

Future Simple vs Future Continuous

Future Simple describes the fact of a future action; Future Continuous describes a process happening at a specific future moment.

I will read a book. I will be reading a book at 8pm.

Future Simple vs Future Perfect

Future Simple — an action in the future; Future Perfect — an action that will be completed before a specific moment in the future.

I will finish my work. I will have finished my work by 6pm.
